People of North Devon and Torridge – we urgently need your help to reform politics and deliver a Fairer Society.

Government is not delivering what we need:

REAL ACTION ON CLIMATE CHANGE AND BIODIVERSITY

A SECURE, AFFORDABLE, AND SAFE HOME FOR EVERYONE

REMOVAL OF THE HUGE INEQUALITIES OF WEALTH AND LIFE CHANCES BETWEEN COMMUNITIES AND ACROSS THE NATION

RECOGNITION OF WELLBEING, HAPPINESS, AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN POLICYMAKING

To help meet these urgent needs, we have Five Demands for democratic reform:

1. A FAIR VOTING SYSTEM, including Proportional Representation, so that everyone’s vote counts

2. Written limits to the power of Government

3. A better way of making laws: including reform of the House of Lords and devolved decision making

4. Strengthening of the Ministerial Code of Conduct

5. Effective scrutiny and regulation of the behaviour of all those in public life
